We have a new conservatory at Aldersyde. The old one has gone and has been replaced by a double glazed unit with energy efficient glass. This will make it far more useable at any time of the year. Now you will be able to enjoy the courtyard and lightness of the conservatory when there is inclement or cold weather outside. It will also keep cooler on hot summer days. The double doors now open outwards into the courtyard, giving more space in the conservatory.
